Converting my old Shrine Room into the Tea Room last year was, without a doubt, the best decision I’ve ever made where it concerns our house; it’s like my own little liminal space- warm and cozy, and serene in a way that makes time pass slowly.
Today I had my 6 month check-in with the doctor- and walked away with something amazing; something I’ve fought, waited, and fought some more for, for over 10 years.
It’s been a long time since I did any sort of check-in post, hasn’t it? I meant to do them weekly when I rebranded A Sweet and Delicate Thing as Yes, Little Hummingbird? but I sort of stopped blogging altogether for a bit. After a while it was hard to start back up- especially with my illness.
I wanted to write a post about my birthday cake today, because who doesn’t love cake? Unfortunately my 2 am baking spree ended with a rather flat one unfit for the blogging world.
This November my Husband and I will’ve been together for 5 years. Come the March after, we’ll have been married for 4… For both of us it’s not only our first Marriage, but also our longest relationship.
I’ve been absent since shortly after my Husband and I’s anniversary in March; the blog’s faltered… The consistent(ish) post schedule’s out the window… And most of you are prolly wondering whether or not I’m dead.
None of the pictures I took this week worked… Isn’t that annoying? So here we are: Another week… Oops. So what’s been up? I’m glad you asked! Ok, you didn’t actually. But this is the time of the week that I usually tell you, so I’m telling you anyways!
Every year I set several goals for myself. I’ve noticed over the last few years, however, that I’m absolutely horrid about following through with them. Not that I don’t try to… But there’s always something.
I’ve been MIA since my last update about my health- and apparently the never ending crickets have scared a few who don’t follow me elsewhere. So in the interest of your sanity, here’s some art!
If you follow my Social Media you’ll know I finally managed to get an appointment to discuss the digestive issues I’ve had over the last year… Needless to say it went far better than expected!
